Touma attacks via dual action—contact and stomach action—has rain-fastness of approximately 4 hours, and it has remarkable translaminar action, which helps control caterpillars present on the lower surface of the leaves. It is a good larvicide with an antifeedant effect, and larvae die within 2-4 days of ingestion.
