CHAMPION-25 is a selective post-emergence herbicide containing Clethodim 25% EC. It is specially formulated for the effective control of annual and perennial grassy weeds in broadleaf crops. The emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation ensures rapid absorption, excellent translocation, and reliable weed control performance.

CHAMPION-25 is absorbed through weed foliage and moves throughout the plant to growing points, providing complete control of grassy weeds from leaves to roots. It helps reduce weed competition, allowing crops to utilize nutrients, moisture, and sunlight more efficiently for better growth and higher yields.

⚙️ Mode of Action

Clethodim belongs to the Cyclohexanedione group of herbicides and inhibits the enzyme Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (ACCase), which is essential for fatty acid synthesis in grasses. This disrupts cell membrane formation and plant growth, resulting in gradual weed death from growing points to roots.

✅ Time of Application

• Apply as a post-emergence herbicide on actively growing grassy weeds
• Best results are obtained when weeds are young and at the 2–6 leaf stage
• Apply before weeds become overly mature
• Spray during favorable growing conditions
• Avoid application during drought or severe crop stress
