L-80 is a selective post-emergence herbicide containing Propanil 80% DF (Dry Flowable). It is specially formulated for the effective control of a wide range of grasses and broadleaf weeds in paddy (rice) cultivation. The DF formulation offers easy handling, excellent dispersion in water, and reliable weed control performance.

⚙️ Mode of Action

Propanil is a contact herbicide that inhibits the photosynthetic process in susceptible weeds. It disrupts electron transport in photosystem II, causing rapid chlorosis, tissue damage, and eventual weed death.

Because of its contact activity, thorough spray coverage is essential for optimum weed control.

• Apply as a post-emergence herbicide
• Best results are achieved when weeds are young and actively growing
• Ideal application is at the 2–4 leaf stage of weeds
• Apply after weed emergence in paddy fields
• Avoid application during drought stress or immediately before rainfall

Dosage: 1.0–1.5 kg per acre (depending on weed intensity and field conditions)

Water Volume: 150–200 liters per acre
