PINOMAX EC is a selective post-emergence herbicide containing Pinoxaden 5.10% EC. It is specially designed for the effective control of grassy weeds in wheat crops. The advanced emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation ensures rapid absorption, excellent translocation, and dependable weed control performance.

PINOMAX EC selectively controls troublesome grass weeds without affecting the wheat crop when used as recommended. It helps reduce weed competition for nutrients, moisture, sunlight, and space, resulting in healthier crop growth and improved yields.

⚙️ Mode of Action

Pinoxaden belongs to the Phenylpyrazoline group of herbicides and inhibits the enzyme Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (ACCase), which is essential for fatty acid synthesis in grasses. This disrupts plant growth, leading to cessation of growth, chlorosis, and eventual death of susceptible grassy weeds.

It is rapidly absorbed through weed foliage and translocated to growing points for complete control.

• Apply as a post-emergence herbicide
• Best results are achieved when grassy weeds are at the 2–5 leaf stage
• Apply when weeds are actively growing
• Ideal application stage in wheat is 30–45 days after sowing (depending on weed growth)
