SUPER-PYRO is a highly effective selective herbicide containing Pyrazosulfuron Ethyl 10% WP. It belongs to the Sulfonylurea group of herbicides and is specially formulated for the control of sedges, broadleaf weeds, and certain grassy weeds in transplanted and direct-seeded rice. The wettable powder (WP) formulation ensures easy mixing, excellent dispersion, and reliable weed control.

SUPER-PYRO provides both pre-emergence and early post-emergence weed control, helping maintain a weed-free crop environment during critical growth stages. It reduces competition for nutrients, water, sunlight, and space, promoting vigorous crop growth and higher yields.

⚙️ Mode of Action

Pyrazosulfuron Ethyl belongs to the ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) inhibitor group of herbicides. It blocks the synthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids required for weed growth and development. Weed growth stops shortly after application, followed by gradual yellowing and death.

The herbicide is absorbed through both roots and foliage, providing effective and long-lasting weed control.

• Apply as a pre-emergence or early post-emergence herbicide
• Best results are achieved when weeds are at the 1–3 leaf stage
• Apply within 3–10 days after transplanting or sowing
• Maintain adequate soil moisture or standing water in rice fields
