DUREMI is an advanced selective herbicide containing Mesotrione 2.27% + Atrazine 22.7% SC. This powerful combination provides broad-spectrum control of annual grasses, broadleaf weeds, and selected sedges in maize crops. The suspension concentrate (SC) formulation ensures excellent dispersion, superior weed control, and long-lasting residual activity.

DUREMI effectively controls weeds during the critical early growth stages of maize, reducing competition for nutrients, moisture, sunlight, and space. This results in healthier crop establishment, improved crop vigor, and higher yield potential.

⚙️ Mode of Action

• Mesotrione inhibits the HPPD (4-Hydroxyphenylpyruvate Dioxygenase) enzyme, disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis and causing bleaching followed by weed death.
• Atrazine inhibits photosynthesis by blocking electron transport in Photosystem II, preventing weed growth and development.

The dual mode of action provides effective post-emergence weed control along with residual protection against subsequent weed emergence.

✅ Time of Application

• Apply as an early post-emergence herbicide
• Best results are achieved when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage
• Apply during the early growth stages of maize
• Ensure adequate soil moisture for optimum residual activity
• Avoid application during crop stress conditions
