Mars-45 (Mancozeb 75% WP) is a broad-spectrum, protective, and contact fungicide. This product delivers excellent results when used in a preventive spray program every 7 to 10 days. In addition to disease control, it provides essential manganese and zinc nutrition to crops. Mars-45 is a highly effective protectant fungicide that combats diseases caused by all four major classes of plant pathogens across a wide range of crops. Due to its multisite activity, there has been no reported resistance to Mancozeb 75% WP even after more than 50 years of commercial use. As a pure contact fungicide, it works effectively before fungal penetration into the leaf, so applications should be carefully timed to coincide with maximum spore deposition on leaves under favorable weather conditions. It is used in foliar sprays, seed treatments, and nursery drenching to control a wide range of fungal diseases in various crops, offering effective, long-lasting disease control.
