TAMTRYNE is a selective systemic herbicide containing Ametryn 80% WG (Water Dispersible Granules). It belongs to the Triazine group of herbicides and is specially formulated for effective control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in crops such as sugarcane, maize, and other recommended crops. The WG formulation ensures easy handling, rapid dispersion in water, and uniform field application.

TAMTRYNE provides both contact and residual weed control, helping maintain a weed-free environment during critical crop growth stages. It reduces weed competition for nutrients, moisture, sunlight, and space, resulting in healthier crop development and improved yields.

⚙️ Mode of Action

Ametryn inhibits photosynthesis by blocking electron transport in Photosystem II. This disrupts energy production in susceptible weeds, causing chlorosis, growth inhibition, and eventual weed death.

It is absorbed through both roots and foliage, providing effective post-emergence and residual weed control.
