TRI-1 is a selective post-emergence herbicide containing Tembotrione 34.4% w/w SC. It is specially developed for effective control of a wide range of broadleaf weeds, grasses, and sedges in maize crops. The advanced suspension concentrate (SC) formulation provides excellent absorption and translocation, ensuring reliable and long-lasting weed control.

TRI-1 helps eliminate weed competition during critical crop growth stages, allowing better utilization of nutrients, water, and sunlight for improved crop growth and higher yields.

⚙️ Mode of Action

Tembotrione belongs to the HPPD (4-Hydroxyphenylpyruvate Dioxygenase) inhibitor group of herbicides. It blocks carotenoid biosynthesis in susceptible weeds, causing bleaching, growth inhibition, and eventual weed death. The herbicide is absorbed through foliage and roots and translocated throughout the weed plant.

✅ Time of Application

• Apply as a post-emergence herbicide when weeds are actively growing
• Best applied when weeds are in the 2–5 leaf stage
• Ideal application timing is 15–25 days after sowing of maize
• Ensure adequate soil moisture for optimum performance
• Avoid spraying during strong winds or when rainfall is expected shortly after application

✅ Recommendation

Dosage: 110–120 ml per acre (depending on weed intensity and field conditions)

Water Volume: 150–200 liters per acre

Method of Application: Foliar Spray

For best results, apply uniformly over the weed foliage and use the recommended adjuvant/surfactant if specified on the product label.
